Dr. Ruba Khader

Greetings! I am Dr. Ruba Khader. I grew up in Irbid in the northern part of Jordan, where my trek to becoming a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon began. My journey started at Jordan University for Science and Technology in Irbid, from where I received a Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 2003. I made my way to Boston shortly after that to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts University, I completed a General Practice Residency in dentistry in 2006 and then completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training in 2011. Since then, I have had the privilege of practicing in an academic setting at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Tufts University in Boston, and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I also had the distinct honor to serve at the Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI for two years.

I am certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and have been a diplomate of the board since 2013. I served as a director for the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation Board of Directors for two terms, and I am also very proud to have served as the president of Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2020.

In 2021, I made a decision to open my own practice, Community Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in Milwaukee where I reside. We saw our first patient in January of 2022. The journey in this practice has been rewarding. I am very privileged to be able to serve my community and looking forward to service for many years to come.

I always say that my job is the best in the world. Every day, I get to meet incredible patients who allow me the privilege of treating them. I take pride in listening to my patients and working with them and their families as a team to address their needs and desires. My practice is rooted in scientific evidence, and I use the latest technology available to deliver innovative surgical care. I am committed to the continuous growth of my skills and surgical art, just as I am committed to the continuous learning about the latest discoveries, technologies, and innovations in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. What I take the most pride in, and what brings me the most joy, is having the tools to bring equitable and compassionate innovative care to the community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you!
